Really nice and detailed information.
I have some general questions –
1. Please help me to understand the different unknown expenses for rental apartments like utilities, taxes etc or any other more. I mean what are exclusions, inclusions and average figures.
2. What are the municipal taxes and any other taxes one needs to pay while living in rental apartments.
3. Can you help me to understand how many type of insurance that needs to have and average figures.
4. Are there Indian community living in city like Venlo, Limburg, Sittard, Maastricht, Herleen.
5. Which are the other cities where Indian community lives apart from popular cities like Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, The Hauge.
6. Is it possible to get a job for Indian woman on part time basis. Is it difficult?
7. Is there any common monthly pass available which can be used for all local public transport like trams, trains, buses, etc.

Is it net or gross? Even if it is net, it is on the lower side. You can still manage with children going to Dutch school and lower rent housing. In summary I wouldn’t recommend.

1 and 2. There are easy workarounds. I am not aware of the detailed procedures. But you will easily find someone who has done it already once you are here.
3. I think so. There is detailed explanation on the IND and also a couple of other websites. Remember that their fees could be quite high.
4. Eligibility does not matter on which visa you are here. ICT, KWP or a switch from one to other does not make any difference. 5yrs continuous residency without even 1 day break must be maintained.

Work Permit term is tied to your employment contract duration. Usually contracts in IT industry start with 1yr. It is extendable as many times as the employer extends the contract.

If the gap is not more than 6months I think the RP will be valid. Best is to call the Netherlands IND and ask.

Hi Madhu, I did not return my RP while exiting NL so am I allowed to travel back on the same RP or it gets cancelled? While I was exiting, there was no immigration done at NL as I travelled to India via Sweden where the immigration was done. I am asking this because a new employer is ready to take over my contract (IND stuff) but will not be processing a new visa. Please reply asap. Thanks

Definitely not with the dependent RP. If the Belgium employer is willing to process the work visa, it could be possible. Otherwise if the Belgium employer has a registered office in NL, it might be possible to hire in NL and ask him to work in Belgium. But I have not much idea or experience in this…please take my reply only as pointers for your investigation.
